# Memory

> Let Carat AI remember your information and style.

'Memory' is a feature where Carat AI learns and remembers your information (preferences, brand colors, etc.) and automatically applies it in future conversations. This means you don't have to repeat the same information every time.

## How to save memories

#### Automatic saving

Without any special settings, Carat AI **automatically learns** and saves important information as you chat.

#### Manual saving

You can directly request "**Remember this**" in the chat.

## Managing memories

You can check and manage (edit, delete, turn off) saved memories at any time.

### Settings location

* **Web:** Click \[Account nickname(계정 닉네임)]\(on mobile web, open the top-left \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) first) at the bottom left → \[Customize Settings(메모리 설정)]
* **App:** \[Home(홈)] → \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) at the top left → \[Memory(메모리)]

  **Individual memory management**

  You can view and delete individual memories saved during conversations.

  **Turning off memory**

  You can temporarily turn off the memory feature by setting the 'Reference saved memories' toggle to **OFF**.

## Customize Carat

In memory settings, go to 'Customize Carat' to configure the following:

**My information settings:**

* What AI calls you
* Basic information like your job, preferences, etc.

**Carat AI personality:**

* Customize Carat's personality and characteristics
* Adjust speaking style and response style

**Image memory:**

* Add images to remember with titles
* Pre-save frequently used images (e.g., company logo, my character)

  **Using image memory**

  If you pre-save your company logo or frequently used character images, you can simply request "Make a banner using the remembered logo" without uploading each time.
