# Create a NEON dance challenge video

> Learn how to use the A2O LITE NEON mini app, understand model selection, and get help with missing results or credits.

**A2O LITE NEON AI Trend** is a mini app that creates a NEON dance video from photos. [Open the NEON mini app](https://carat.im/apps/neon-dance-challenge) to get started.

This guide applies to `/apps/neon-dance-challenge`. Its workflow differs from video generation and model selection in regular AI chat.

## How do I create a video?

1. Open the [NEON mini app](https://carat.im/apps/neon-dance-challenge) and sign in to Carat.
2. Add two lead photos in the person input area. Use photos where one person's face and body are clearly visible.
3. Optionally add up to five **backup dancer** photos.
4. Optionally use **Add Background** to upload a different backdrop. Leave it empty to use the original music video background.
5. Check your photos and the access and credit information shown in the app, then select **Create**. Check your own result when generation finishes.

The official introduction specifies a **30-second landscape video at 16:9, 1280×720**. The appearance of people and backgrounds can vary between generated results.

## Which model does NEON use? Can I change it?

NEON uses **Seedance 2.5**. The mini app currently has no user-selectable generation model. This was verified on October 29, 2026.

Selecting Kling, Veo, or another model in regular chat—or asking chat to “make a NEON video with Kling”—**does not change the model used by the NEON mini app**. Upgrading your subscription does not add a model selector to NEON.

If NEON does not produce a video, use the troubleshooting steps below. Switching chat models or purchasing another subscription is not the troubleshooting path for this mini app.

## I selected Create, but I only see example videos

**Example results** are samples that demonstrate the feature. Seeing an example does not mean your own video has finished generating.

Check for a generation status, failure or cancellation message, or your own result. If you cannot find your result or see an error, contact support with the details below. When the same issue persists, have the existing attempt checked rather than repeatedly selecting Create.

A missing result cannot be diagnosed as a normal LTX limitation from the screen alone. **NEON does not generate with LTX.** The actual job status must be checked to identify the cause.

## Credits were deducted, but I have no video

Check the NEON screen for its access requirements and credit information. Do not assume that unlimited video benefits for regular chat also apply to NEON.

Contact support if credits were deducted without a result, or if the job failed or was cancelled. Support needs to check the job and its deduction and return records before confirming whether a charge was correct or a refund is available.

You do not need to resend details already provided. You do not need to create a regular AI chat share link to report a mini app issue.
