# Voice conversation

> Have real-time conversations with Carat AI using your voice, no typing needed.

'Voice conversation' is a feature for having real-time conversations with Carat AI using your voice without text typing. When you ask questions by speaking, the AI also responds with voice, making it useful for brainstorming ideas or casual conversations.

## How to use

    Tap the \[blue button] on the right side of the chat input to start a voice conversation.

    During voice conversation, turn on the \[camera icon] to let Carat AI see your screen in real-time while talking.

  **Additional settings**

  During voice conversation, you can enable **subtitles** and **select voice** using the icons at the top right.

  **Current limitations**

  Voice conversation mode is **optimized for general conversation** and cannot directly request image or video generation.
