# I want to change Carat AI's personality or tone

You can customize Carat AI's response style and tone to your preference.

### 1. Request directly from AI (using Memory)

Tell AI your preferred style directly in the chat, and AI will save it to **Memory** to reflect in future conversations.

### 2. Set permanently in 'Customize Carat' menu

If you want to permanently set AI's tone or response style, using the 'Customize Carat' menu is the most reliable way.

#### App

1. Tap the **menu (☰)** in the top left.
2. Select \[Memory(메모리)].
3. Go to the \[Customize Carat] tab, enter your preferred style, and save.

#### Website

1. Click \[Account nickname(계정 닉네임)] (on mobile web, open the top-left \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) first) in the bottom left.
2. Select \[Customize Settings(메모리 설정)] menu.
3. Go to the \[Customize Carat] tab, enter your preferred style, and save.
