# Generator temporarily restricted after repeated content policy rejections

> Repeated content policy rejections can temporarily restrict generator access on Plus and other plans. Check the restriction period, end time, retry steps, why this is separate from the 24-hour free-credit cycle, and how failed-request credits are returned.

If images or text submitted through the generator are repeatedly rejected by a model's content policy, access to the generator may be temporarily restricted. This safeguard applies to **all plans, including paid and unlimited plans such as Plus**.

If you're asking “Why is generation restricted on Plus?”, “Am I blocked for 24 hours?”, or “When will access be restored?”, first check the restriction end time shown in the notice. A low credit balance is a separate issue; this page covers **temporary generator restrictions caused by repeated content policy rejections**.

<Note>
  This restriction is **not related to the 24-hour daily free credit recharge cycle**, and it does not mean generator access is blocked for 24 hours.
</Note>

### How long does the restriction last?

* The first restriction lasts **30 minutes**.
* If the restriction is triggered again within **24 hours after the previous restriction began**, it lasts **2 hours**.
* A single restriction lasts no longer than **2 hours**. After it ends, repeated content-policy rejections can trigger a new restriction.

After a restriction ends, only new generator requests are considered for the next restriction. If content-policy rejections repeat within a short period, the restriction notice may appear when you submit your next generation request.

### What should I do?

1. Wait until the restriction end time shown in the notice.
2. Remove or rephrase sensitive or potentially misleading text or images in the rejected request.
3. Submit the revised request after the restriction ends. You can also try another model, as content policies may differ by model.

After the restriction ends, continuing to submit the same content and receiving repeated policy rejections may trigger another restriction.

### What happens to credits for failed requests?

* Credits for failed generation requests are **returned automatically**.
* A request blocked by the temporary restriction is stopped before submission, so no credits are charged.
* A request that you submit again after the restriction ends is treated as a new request. A successful request is charged normally, while a failed request is returned automatically.

If you still cannot use the generator after the restriction end time, take a screenshot of the restriction notice and contact Customer Support.
