# Can I add the Carat connector on my phone?

> Claude's mobile app has no add-connector screen. Connect once in a mobile browser and the tools appear in the app afterwards.

**Yes, you can.** However, **Claude's mobile app does not have a screen for adding connectors**, so the setup itself has to be done once in a browser.

## How to connect

1. Open **Claude on your phone's browser** (Safari, Chrome, and so on) and log in.
2. Go to \[Customize(사용자 지정)] → \[Connectors(커넥터)] → \[Add(추가)] ([claude.ai/settings/connectors](https://claude.ai/settings/connectors)).
3. In the \[Add custom connector(커스텀 커넥터 추가)] dialog, enter `Carat` for \[Name(이름)] and `https://mcp.carat.im/mcp` for \[Remote MCP server URL(원격 MCP 서버 URL)], then save.
4. Log in with your Carat account when the Carat login window appears and allow access.

Once that is done, **Carat's tools appear in the Claude mobile app as well.** The connector is stored on your account, so there is nothing to set up again in the app.

<Note>
  Sometimes tapping the link opens the Claude app instead and never reaches the add-connector screen. In that case, type the address into your browser directly, or connect once on a computer — it will then work on your phone too.
</Note>

## Connected, but the app still does not show the tools

Open a **new chat** in the app and check that Carat is switched on under \[Connectors(커넥터)] in the message box. The full order is in [Carat's tools do not show up in Claude](/docs/en/troubleshooting/mcp/tools-not-showing).
