# Carat Video is unlimited, but video generation is blocked

> The two ways to use unlimited Carat Video (LTX), and why direct in-video editing, sound effects, background music, and some external video models are not covered by the unlimited benefit.

If unlimited Carat Video ('Carat Video Generation', the LTX model) doesn't generate, or deducts credits, it's usually one of two things: (1) the request doesn't fit an **unlimited generation method or model**, or (2) you're **low on credits**. First, check the two unlimited generation methods below.

### How to generate unlimited Carat Video

| Method                     | Description                                               |
| :------------------------- | :-------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Image-based generation** | Attach an image and generate a video based on that image  |
| **Start and end frames**   | Add two images to serve as the start and end of the video |

## If it's blocked because you're low on credits (use Agent 1.0)

Generating unlimited video **doesn't use credits in itself.** But Agent 2.0 uses credits for its smarter conversation and work, so when you're low on credits, even unlimited video may not generate.

  When you're low on credits but want to make unlimited video, use \[Agent 1.0(에이전트 1.0)]. It lets you use unlimited generation even when low on credits, and it uses Carat Video (LTX) by default for video, so you don't need to specify.

If you top up your credits, you can continue in Agent 2.0 as well. In that case, say **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"** to receive the unlimited benefit.

### What the unlimited benefit doesn't cover

The following aren't included in the unlimited Carat Video benefit.

* **Directly editing specific elements in a video:** Picking out and directly editing specific elements inside an already-generated video isn't supported yet.
* **Sound effects and background music:** Not covered by the unlimited benefit, so credits are deducted.
* **Some external video models:** Advanced external models like Kling, Google Veo, and Seedance aren't covered.

  In Agent 2.0, **Seedance 2.0 Fast** runs as the default video model for performance. To generate with unlimited Carat Video (LTX), request it explicitly by saying **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"**.
