# How many credits does the lip sync feature consume?

Lip sync is an advanced feature that precisely syncs lip movements to audio, and it **consumes a very high number of credits.**

### Lip sync credit consumption

* It consumes much more credits than other video generation features.
* The longer the video, the more credits are deducted.
* Compared to Carat Video generation (LTX, \~33 credits per generation), lip sync deducts **dozens of times more credits.**

### How to save credits

Instead of lip sync, you can save credits dramatically with this approach:

1. Generate the narration (audio) separately.
2. Generate a "talking-style" **Carat Video (LTX)** clip separately.
3. Combine the two.

This won't sync lips as precisely as lip sync, but it consumes far fewer credits.
