# I'm getting a message that I don't have enough credits. What should I do?

This message appears when your current remaining credits are less than what's required for the feature you're trying to use.

### How to resolve insufficient credits

#### Subscribers

1. **Top up credits** on the [upgrade page](https://carat.im/en/upgrade). (Validity: 1 month from recharge date)
2. If you need more monthly credits, you can **upgrade to a higher plan**.
3. Try using the Carat Video (LTX) model, which costs fewer credits.

#### Free Users

1. If you want to use Carat immediately, you can [upgrade to a paid plan](https://carat.im/en/upgrade).
2. **Watch an ad or tap a button to earn random credits** instantly. (Validity: 3 days)

### Notes on credits consumption

* If you've been mainly using high-cost video models, your credits may have been depleted faster than expected.
* Check the credits for each model and maximum daily credits counts for free users at [How much can you use in each plan?](https://carat.im/upgrade).

### Check current remaining credits

* **App:** Bottom \[Profile(프로필)] → Top right \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) → \[My Credits(내 크레딧)]
* **Website:** Bottom left \[Account nickname(계정 닉네임)]\(on mobile web, open the top-left \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) first) → \[Settings(설정)] → \[My Credits(내 크레딧)]
