# Pro plan has 'unlimited Carat Video generation' but my credits are being deducted.

The roughly 500x credit allotment compared to Free that the Pro plan provides is meant to be spent on advanced models (Kling, Google Veo, Seedance, video editing, etc.) and other features such as image generation. **Carat Video generation (the LTX model) itself does not deduct credits.**

## How to invoke the Carat Video model

When you request a video, Carat AI picks an appropriate model. If a model other than Carat Video is selected, credits will be deducted.

In particular, **Agent 2.0 uses Seedance 2.0 Fast as the default model for performance reasons**, so explicitly request **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"** to receive the unlimited benefit.

* **Prompt format:** "(your request) **+ Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)**"

If you want to generate a video directly from text without an image, you can request **"text-to-video, use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"** to use text-based video generation unlimited.

<Warning>
  In Agent 2.0, saying **"use the Carat Basic Video model"** or **"use the Carat Video model"** may invoke Seedance 2.0 Fast or another model and credits will be deducted. In that case, request **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"** explicitly to use it without credit deduction.

For other operations such as creating new images or editing an existing video, tools other than the Carat Video model are used and credits will be deducted.
