# Unlimited benefit scope: which models are unlimited and which deduct credits?
> A complete summary of which Carat models are covered by the unlimited promotion and which deduct credits.
The unlimited promotion benefit applies to **specific models only.** Use the tables below to see which models are unlimited and which still deduct credits.
## Models covered by the unlimited benefit (no credit deduction)
Coverage depends on your signup date and plan. See [Promotion overview](/en/troubleshooting/usage-plan/promotion-overview) for details by signup window.
**Max plan:** Max receives the same unlimited benefits as Premium (identical for monthly and annual). Max annual benefits apply to signups on or after May 22, 2026. Unlimited benefit models are subject to change, so check the benefits currently applied on the [upgrade page](https://carat.im/en/upgrade) (before subscribing) or on [My Credits(내 크레딧)](https://carat.im/en/subscription) (if already subscribed).

**Agent 2.0 users, important:** Agent 2.0 uses **Seedance 2.0** as its default video model for performance reasons. To receive the Carat Video (LTX) unlimited benefit, explicitly request **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"**. ## I'm unlimited, but generation gets blocked when I'm low on credits (Agent 1.0 vs 2.0)
Generating images or videos with an unlimited model **doesn't use credits.** But **chatting** with the agent does. The conversation runs on an LLM, separate from the generation models. How many credits the conversation uses depends on your agent version.

## Items NOT covered by the unlimited benefit (credits deducted)
Using the items below will deduct credits as usual.

**Note:** Whether you generate images or videos with an unlimited model, **chatting** with the AI agent deducts credits separately. To save conversation credits, use **Carat 1.0 Lite**.
## Common misunderstandings
Nanobanana 2 has a similar name but is a **separate model**, and by default using it deducts credits. However, **annual subscribers** who joined after certain dates (Max annual: signups on or after May 22, 2026) get Nanobanana 2 1K included in the unlimited benefit. Since eligibility depends on your signup date, check [My Credits(내 크레딧)](https://carat.im/en/subscription) or contact support to confirm.
Generating images or videos with an unlimited-eligible model is free in itself. What still deducts credits is **chatting** with the AI agent and using **other (non-unlimited) models** (Seedance 2.0, Sora, Veo, Kling, etc.). Agent 2.0 in particular uses credits for conversation, so when you're low on credits even unlimited generation can be hard to use. In that case use \[Agent 1.0(에이전트 1.0)], which lets you keep using unlimited generation even when low on credits.
Only members who joined between Nov 21–30, 2025 have unlimited Nanobanana Pro (1K, 2K). Outside that window only Nanobanana (base) is unlimited; Nanobanana Pro deducts credits.
The Pro plan's video unlimited benefit applies to the **'Carat Video' (LTX) model only**. Other video models such as Sora2, Veo3, Kling, and Seedance deduct credits. In Agent 2.0 the default model is Seedance 2.0, so explicitly request **"Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)"** to use it unlimited.
