# Credits deducted despite unlimited promotion

> Causes and solutions when credits are being used up or deducted while receiving unlimited promotion benefits.

Your unlimited promotion benefits are active and working correctly. However, if you notice credits being deducted, please check the following 4 scenarios.

## When credits are being used

  <Accordion title="1. Credit deduction from AI agent conversations">
    Even if you have unlimited benefits (image/video generation, etc.), **AI agent conversations are charged separately from credits**. AI agent conversations use LLMs (large language models) and are not included in the unlimited benefit scope.

    That said, Agent 2.0 also uses credits for its conversations, since smarter conversations and tasks draw on credits. If your credits run out completely, even unlimited generation can become hard to use. Recharge your credits or upgrade your plan to keep going. (If you only need to keep generating unlimited images or videos, that's also possible in Agent 1.0 (Web: carat.im/?tab=v1, App: \[Home(홈)] → \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) at the top-left → \[Agent 2.0(에이전트 2.0)] → \[Agent 1.0(에이전트 1.0)]).)

    Check your [credits history](/en/troubleshooting/usage-plan/how-to-check-usage-history) to see if the deducted items are AI agent conversations.

    **How to check credits history:**

    * **App:** Bottom \[Profile(프로필)] → Top right \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) → \[My Credits(내 크레딧)] → Top right \[…] → \[Credits History(사용 내역)]
    * **Website:** Bottom left sidebar \[Account nickname(계정 닉네임)]\(on mobile web, open the top-left \[Menu(메뉴)] (☰) first) → \[Settings(설정)] → \[My Credits(내 크레딧)] → Top right \[Subscription & Usage(구독•사용 관리)] → \[Credits History(사용 내역)]

  <Accordion title="2. You used a model not covered by the unlimited benefit">
    Promotion benefits are limited to specific image models (e.g., Nanobanana, Z-Image). If you also use other high-cost features such as **video generation (Veo, etc.), Lipsync, or Midjourney**, your total allocated credits may be consumed.

  <Accordion title="3. You exceeded the benefit scope for your signup date">
    * **Subscribers from Nov 21–30, 2025:** Only Nanobanana Pro 1K and 2K resolutions are unlimited. Using 4K resolution will deduct credits.
    * **Subscribers from Dec 1, 2025 onward:** Only Nanobanana Basic is unlimited. Using Nanobanana Pro will deduct credits.

    Promotions apply when an active promotion is running at the time of your first subscription. If you subscribed before the promotion started, the benefit does not apply.
