Anthropic Just Pulled Fable 5. Here's Why.

2026.06.15
Hey, it's the Carat team. 🙂 Anthropic pulled its top models overnight, Jensen Huang swung through Seoul, and a cat went viral for all the right reasons. Here's today's rundown.

🔥 Anthropic pulled Fable 5 worldwide

Anthropic disabled its own Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models everywhere. On June 12, the US government issued an export control order blocking foreign nationals from both models, citing national security. Since Anthropic couldn't filter out foreign nationals alone, it ended up cutting access for everyone. Anyone using them outside the US is locked out for now.
The US government pointed to a method for getting around Fable 5's safety guardrails. Anthropic says the weakness is narrow and already well known, and that pulling a model used by hundreds of millions isn't the right call.
The two sides are still going back and forth, and some expect it could take weeks to return. Every other Anthropic model still works fine.

📌 3 things happening today

1️⃣ Why did Jensen Huang stop by Seoul?

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang stopped in Seoul last week right after wrapping GTC Taipei. He came to lock down the AI supply chain for the back half of the year, and met with leadership from SK, LG, and Naver one after another.
He widened a next-gen memory partnership with SK, and Naver says it will scale its Sejong data center into a gigawatt-class AI factory. On his way out, he even dropped by a T1 gaming cafe to meet pro players and check out new gear.

2️⃣ The AI cat video with 4,000+ likes

ⓒ @EHuanglu
A white cat walks up to a beat-up car at night, taps it with a paw, and starts bopping on two legs to the car alarm it set off. The AI clip spread on X, cleared 4,000 likes, and copycat cat videos are piling up.

3️⃣ Google's 15 picks for European robotics

ⓒ Google DeepMind
Google DeepMind kicked off its first three-month accelerator for European robotics startups and picked 15 of them from nine countries for the first cohort. It takes zero equity and hands them Gemini Robotics models, Google's AI infrastructure, and one-on-one mentorship. It wraps with a demo day in London, plus up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits.
The picks run from robotic welding and construction bots to autonomous underwater robots, microrobots for neurosurgery, and humanoids. These are teams building robots that actually move on factory floors and in logistics, healthcare, and waste sorting.

🧪 Today's prompt

Turn your photo into a World Cup fan shot

The 2026 World Cup is in full swing. It kicked off on June 11 across the US, Canada, and Mexico, and Korea beat Czechia 2-1 in its opener with Mexico up next on June 18. To match the mood, we built a prompt on Carat that turns a single photo into a stadium fan shot.

Drop in one photo and you are in the stands holding a Korean flag.
Transform my photo with the prompt below using ChatGPT Image 2.
Prompt:
Use the uploaded person photo as the only identity anchor. Preserve the person's recognizable face shape, eyes, nose, lips, skin tone relationship, hairstyle impression, natural expression, and believable body proportions. Transform the photo into an authentic K-World Cup match-day stadium fan photo using these elements: real stadium seat rows, a green football pitch visible in the distance, metal railings, concrete stadium steps, red football jersey styling, Korean cheering props, casual 인증샷 mood, and realistic smartphone friend-shot photography. Keep the person as the clear main subject. Do not use any external reference images as input.

The person should stand between actual stadium seat rows or near a railing, framed as a full-body or three-quarter-body vertical portrait. Style them in a red football jersey with casual shorts, skirt, or denim. The person is holding a clearly visible, highly accurate South Korean national flag: white rectangular field, central red-over-blue Taegeuk circle, and four correct black trigrams placed in the four corners. The flag must look like a real fabric flag with natural folds, but the Taegeuk circle and four trigrams should remain recognizable and correctly arranged. The South Korean flag is allowed; avoid all other readable symbols, brand marks, official tournament emblems, sponsor logos, or text.

Style rules: not a studio editorial, not a trophy fantasy, and not a generic football poster. The image should feel like someone actually visited a real stadium during World Cup season before kickoff. Use natural daylight or stadium floodlights, candid phone-photo framing, realistic skin texture, realistic hands, shallow but believable depth of field, and a polished social-media finish. Preserve the person's identity strongly and do not redesign the face. No watermark, no extra people, no distorted hands, no extra fingers, no unreadable fake lettering.
Your pet can join the crowd too. Just run the prompt below.

Prompt:
Use the first uploaded image as the only identity anchor for the dog. Preserve the dog's breed impression, fur color, face, eyes, muzzle, ears, grooming silhouette, personality, and realistic fur texture. Use the second uploaded image only as a composition and atmosphere reference: similar stadium-seat framing, real match-day environment, believable background depth, and natural crowd density. Do not copy any person, face, logo, text, or exact layout from the second image.

Create an authentic K-World Cup match-day pet fan photo. The dog sits centered on an actual stadium seat wearing a tiny red football jersey or simple red fan bandana. Keep the dog as the clear foreground subject, shot from a natural smartphone pet-photo angle. Fill the surrounding and background stadium seats with a believable crowd of football fans so the venue does not look empty: people seated and standing in rows behind the dog, softly blurred by depth of field, wearing mostly red casual fan outfits, holding plain non-text cheering towels or small props. The crowd should look natural and secondary, not posing for the camera, with no duplicated faces and no distorted bodies.

The stadium environment should feel physically real: rows of seats, railings, concrete steps, green pitch visible in the distance, daylight or stadium floodlights, candid pre-kickoff 인증샷 mood, polished social-media smartphone finish. Do not include any national flag, Taegeukgi, flag towel, flag pattern, official tournament emblem, sponsor logo, brand mark, readable signage, or text anywhere in the image. Preserve the dog's identity strongly and do not redesign the dog. No watermark, no extra animals, no distorted paws, no unreadable fake lettering.
One photo is all it takes on Carat.
