ByteDance just unveiled Seedance 2.5, a new video model. It builds a full 30-second 4K clip from a single prompt, blowing past the roughly 15-second ceiling most AI video has been stuck at.
You can feed it up to 50 references like images or video, and it builds the sound to match the on-screen action. ByteDance also says prompt accuracy is up 20% from before.
Seedance 2.5 is in enterprise beta now and rolls out publicly in early July. You can already make videos with Seedance on Carat today.

OpenAI is working on a new voice model called Bidi 1. Right now voice chat is one-way: you talk, it listens, then it replies. Bidi 1 can jump in while you're still talking, respond, and keep listening at the same time.
Tell it to count to ten, then cut in with 'now count backward,' and it switches on the spot. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but the feature was spotted inside the ChatGPT app.

An AI action video from creator techhalla is turning heads. It's a chase at an amusement park, with the lead leaping over a stall of teddy bears, made entirely with AI video tools, no crew or stunts.
The crowd in the background and the shaky handheld camera make it feel like a real movie scene. Pulling this off used to take a stunt team and gear.
