🔥 Google's AI avatars now act out any script you write
Google gave the AI avatars in its video tool Vids a big upgrade. By pairing the Veo 3.1 video model with Gemini voices, you can now type directions like "walk over here, say this line, pick up that object," and the avatar acts it out for you.
The default avatar lineup grew from 23 to 53, and you can pick from photorealistic, 3D cartoon, and graphic novel styles. You can also drop in a custom avatar you made and use it as a character in your video.

1️⃣ Kling's new model talks now, did you hear?
Kling, the video model you can already use on Carat, just dropped version 3.0 Turbo. The lip-sync that adds a voice and matches mouth movements got better, and it's faster and cheaper too. 2️⃣ ElevenLabs Music now builds your track section by section
ElevenLabs, best known for voice, opened up its Music generation model through an API. Instead of rendering a whole song in one shot, you can build the intro, verse, and chorus as separate sections and re-generate only the parts you don't like. 3️⃣ Claude Design takes you from mockup to code in one go
Anthropic gave Claude Design a big update. You build slides, prototypes, and interactive mockups through conversation, and now you can edit them right on the canvas and export straight to tools like Canva and Adobe. Turning a finished design into code happens in one step too.
