Anime to Reality
What would your favorite character look like if they were cast in a live-action movie? Carat AI's anime to real life AI takes one image of an anime, cartoon, webtoon, or game character and reimagines it as a realistic film still: real skin, real hair, cinematic lighting. Most anime-to-realistic converters give you a single default face. Here you choose the ethnicity of the live-action version and the frame shape of the shot, so the result looks like the casting you imagined, not a generic portrait. There are no prompts to write. You upload, make two choices, and create.
01
Add the character you want to bring to life. Anime screenshots, cartoon art, webtoon panels, digital illustrations, and game avatars all work. A clear view of the face and outfit gives the AI the most to work with.
02
Pick the ethnicity for your live-action version: Asian, African, European, Indian, Middle Eastern, or Mixed. The same character can feel like a completely different casting choice with each option. Then set the image ratio: Auto, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, or 9:16.
03
Hit Create and get a realistic image of your character framed like a scene from a film. Not quite the look you wanted? Switch the ethnicity or ratio and create again.
×
A single character with a clearly visible face and upper body works best. Tiny, cropped, or heavily covered faces give the AI less detail to carry over.
+
Anime and cartoon faces rarely define ethnicity on their own. Choosing Asian, African, European, Indian, Middle Eastern, or Mixed lets you decide who your character becomes in live action.
+
Use Auto to follow your original image, 9:16 for vertical social posts, 16:9 for a wide movie-style scene, and 1:1 for profile pictures. 4:3 and 3:4 are also available.
+
The AI aims to keep what makes the character recognizable, such as hairstyle, outfit, and color palette, while rendering a real human face, skin, and lighting. If it doesn't feel right, change the ethnicity or ratio and try again.

Upload characters you created or have the rights to use. Sharing or using results based on someone else's copyrighted character, especially commercially, may require the rights holder's permission.
