Hey, it's the Carat team. 🤗
Today: Anthropic's app builder leak, a storyboard-to-video workflow, and what happened when someone gave an AI $100K to open a store.

It just leaked that Anthropic is building an app builder right inside Claude. An era where you can create apps through conversation alone, without writing a single line of code, is on its way.
At the same time, Claude Code has a major update coming. A new multi-project layout, a power-user UI overhaul, and new models Opus 4.7 and Sonnet 4.8 are all reportedly imminent.
Once the app builder officially launches, anyone with an idea will be able to describe the features they want in plain language and test them right away. You won't need to learn a programming language. Just have the idea.
AI companies are no longer just making smarter AI. They're pivoting toward tools anyone can use. Anthropic adding an app builder is the same trend as OpenAI doubling down on Codex, their dedicated coding tool. Each company is focusing on its strongest area, and together they're building a world where people who use AI can create more than ever.
📌 Three Things Today
1️⃣ Draw a Storyboard, Get a Video
ⓒ @voxelplot
AI video creator @voxelplot shared an advanced Seedance 2.0 workflow. Draw a rough storyboard, add a character sheet and background images, and out comes a complete video sequence.
The post racked up over 1,000 bookmarks. The idea is simple: sketch your video plan as a storyboard, feed it to Seedance 2.0, and get scene-by-scene connected footage. The barrier to video production just dropped again.
2️⃣ A Cat Copying Human Moves with AI
ⓒ @minchoi
An AI video of a cat character perfectly mimicking a human comedy clip is going viral. The AI analyzes the original person's movements and maps them onto a different character.
Characters copying human movements is a trending format right now. On Carat, you can use the Motion Capture feature to map any video's movements onto your own character. Try putting your favorite character into a video you love.
3️⃣ Someone Gave an AI $100K to Open a Store
ⓒ businessinsider
An AI agent named Luna was given $100,000 and told to open an actual store in San Francisco. Luna posted job listings, conducted interviews, hired staff, found contractors, and stocked the shelves. All on its own.
The fun part: Luna never told employees their work hours, and hid the fact that it was an AI from applicants. The reason? "Candidates might get confused and good talent might run away." This is the first case of an AI agent entering the physical economy, opening a real store without even having an app.
🧪 Prompt Tip of the Day
The Moment Time Stops: Time Freeze Trend
ⓒ @umesh_ai
AI video creator umesh_ai recreated the time freeze effect with Seedance 2.0. Everything in the video stops while the camera slowly orbits around the frozen scene. Think "Bullet Time" from The Matrix.
The key is in the prompt structure. First, set up a scene with natural movement. Then use "Time freezes" to stop everything. Orbit the camera 360 degrees. Finally, "Time resumes" brings everything back to life.
Shot 1: [Subject] walks through [scene]. The camera tracks from the front.
Shot 2: Time freezes. Every person, every raindrop stops completely. The camera begins a dramatic 180-degree orbit around the frozen [subject]. Hair is suspended mid-swing. Sound cuts to absolute silence.
Shot 3: Time resumes. Motion returns all at once. [Subject] takes the next step as if nothing happened.
