Google Gemini Omni: Change Videos Just by Asking?
Google unveiled a video editing feature for Gemini Omni. Users can give instructions to footage they shot, then change the background, camera angle, lighting, and mood of the scene.
Google showed examples where the motion in a video stays the same while the background, lighting, and camera feel change. In a follow-up post, Google shared a prompt like “change the setting into a desert, don’t change anything else,” showing that users can describe only the change they want.

1️⃣ Anthropic takes its first IPO step
Anthropic said it confidentially submitted a draft S-1 registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. That means the company now has the option to move toward an IPO once the SEC review process is complete.
Anthropic makes Claude and competes with OpenAI across enterprise AI and coding tools. This does not mean the company is going public right away, but it does mean the preparation process has started.
2️⃣ DuckDuckGo makes no-AI search easier
DuckDuckGo is a privacy-focused search engine. It has long positioned itself as a Google Search alternative by saying it does not track users’ search history. Now it has released Chrome and Firefox extensions that make it easier to use search without AI summaries.
According to TechCrunch, DuckDuckGo still offers AI answers, but it is also pushing a separate search experience for people who do not want AI summaries. AI summaries are useful for some people, but many still just want to see the search result links.
3️⃣ NVIDIA talks robotics and self-driving AI
NVIDIA continued its push into robotics, self-driving systems, and physical AI at GTC Taipei. CEO Jensen Huang talked about AI factory infrastructure, autonomous agents, robotics models, and vehicle AI.
Reports say NVIDIA highlighted Cosmos 3, Alpamayo 2 Super for autonomous driving, and an open reference platform for humanoid robots. NVIDIA is tying AI more closely to robots and self-driving cars.
