Lip sync is an advanced feature that precisely syncs lip movements to audio, and it consumes a very high number of credits.

Lip sync credit consumption

  • It consumes much more credits than other video generation features.
  • The longer the video, the more credits are deducted.
  • Compared to Carat Video generation (LTX, ~33 credits per generation), lip sync deducts dozens of times more credits.
For exact credit costs and theoretical maximum usage by plan, see the ‘How much can you use in each plan?’ table on the upgrade page.

How to save credits

Instead of lip sync, you can save credits dramatically with this approach:
  1. Generate the narration (audio) separately.
  2. Generate a “talking-style” Carat Video (LTX) clip separately.
  3. Combine the two.
This won’t sync lips as precisely as lip sync, but it consumes far fewer credits.
