Cinematic time-freeze short film. 35mm lens, warm interior of a packed Korean fried chicken restaurant at night, neon wall signs, volumetric haze from the kitchen, shallow depth of field.
A Korean woman in her early thirties with shoulder-length hair and a black leather jacket walks confidently through absolute chaos — a KBO championship has just been won on the TV screens. Fans in colorful team jerseys are mid-eruption, cola cups raised, fried chicken pieces flying off shared plates, napkins tossed in the air. She walks forward through the crowd and raises her right hand.
She snaps her fingers.
[HARD CUT TO — wide shot, frozen world]
A spherical shockwave bursts from her fingertips with visible air distortion. Everything freezes. Thick arcs of cola suspend mid-splash, individual glistening droplets visible. Fried chicken pieces float motionless. People are frozen mid-cheer, mouths open, arms raised. Neon light catches the suspended liquid and dust.
[HARD CUT TO — steadicam tracking, following her]
Only she moves. Her footsteps echo in silence. She walks calmly through the frozen celebration. She ducks casually under an arc of frozen splashing cola. She reaches out and plucks a single floating french fry from the air.
[HARD CUT TO — medium shot, frontal]
She turns to camera, pops the fry in her mouth, crunches it. Smirks. Snaps again. A reverse shockwave restores motion — cola completes its splash, the roar returns, fans land their jumps. She walks away into the celebrating crowd.
Audio: loud restaurant crowd cheering, a sharp finger snap, deep bass shockwave, then absolute silence with only her footsteps, a crisp crunch, another snap, reverse shockwave, crowd celebration returns full volume.
