AI models may have limitations on the video length they can generate at once. In Carat AI, you can create longer videos using two main methods:
  1. Select a high-performance model that generates longer clips at once
  2. Connect clips by continuing to create the next scene from an existing video

Method 1: Create longer videos with high-performance models

Some high-performance models like Veo 3 (up to 8 seconds), Kling 2.5 (up to 10 seconds), and Sora 2 (up to 12 seconds) generate longer videos than other models in a single request.
These models use more Usage to match their superior performance.

Method 2: Continue creating the next scene

This feature references the last frame and elements of an existing video to naturally generate the next scene. This can be done via button or text request.

Click the [Generate next scene] button below the generated video detail view. Carat AI will automatically generate the next video based on the last frame.
Completing your video clipsHave you created multiple video clips with this feature? Now follow these steps to complete one long video.
  1. First, use the Video merge feature to combine the generated clips into one long video.
  2. Then, use the Add audio to video feature to add background music or narration to the completed video.
