If you have unlimited benefits but no credits
When your credits run out, you cannot use an agent conversation. Choosing a model inside a chat still requires separate conversation credits. Unlimited benefits cover generation costs for eligible models and options, not the agent’s conversation costs. If you have enough conversation credits, eligible generation in the agent can still use your unlimited benefit. The generator is the way to keep generating without a conversation when your credits are zero. To generate images or videos with models and options included in your account’s unlimited benefits, open the Generator(생성기). On the web, use [Generator(생성기)] in the left sidebar (open the top-left ☰ on mobile web); in the app, go to [Home(홈)] → top-left menu (☰) → [Generator(생성기)] (app version 2.281.0 or later). The generator uses no conversation credits, but accounts without the benefit and models or options outside its coverage still require credits. If you’ve exhausted all your credits, you can keep using Carat right away with the following options.Unlimited benefits also don’t apply through MCP (Carat connected to Claude or another AI tool), so at 0 credits an MCP generation won’t go through even with an unlimited-eligible model. 1. Top up to continue conversations or other paid features
Use this option when you want to continue conversations or other features that require credits. You can top up additional credits at various price points including Plus, Boost, and Pro.- Validity period: Additional recharged credits are valid for 1 month from the recharge date.
- Recharge count: You can recharge freely without any limit.
How to recharge
- App: Bottom [Profile(프로필)] → Top right [Menu(메뉴)] (☰) → [My Credits(내 크레딧)] → Select your desired credits option and pay.
- Website: After visiting the Carat website, bottom left [Account nickname(계정 닉네임)](on mobile web, open the top-left [Menu(메뉴)] (☰) first) → [Upgrade(업그레이드)] → Select your desired credits option and pay.
2. Upgrade to a higher plan
If you need more monthly credits and access to advanced models, you can upgrade to a higher plan such as Plus or Pro on the upgrade page.3. Earn random credits (free users)
Free users can earn random credits instantly by watching an ad or tapping a button.- Validity: Earned random credits are valid for 3 days.
