Plan change (upgrade)

You can change (upgrade) from your current plan to a higher tier plan.
  1. App
    • Profile → Menu (☰) → My Credits → Select Change for the desired plan
  2. Website
    • Account nickname (bottom left) → Upgrade → Select Change for the desired plan
Business plan users should contact their dedicated manager or reach out through Business inquiry to change plans.

Change payment method

Here’s how to change your payment method such as the card used for subscription payments.
  1. Apple App Store
    • Settings → Apple ID → Payment & Shipping → Change payment method
  2. Google Play Store
    • Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Payment methods → Change payment method
  3. Carat Website
    • Currently, web payment does not support changing payment methods.
    • To change your payment method, refer to the [Cancel Subscription] section in this document to cancel your current subscription first, then resubscribe with your preferred payment method after the subscription period expires.

Cancel Subscription

You can cancel your subscription directly depending on how you paid.
  1. Apple App Store
    • Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cancel Carat subscription
  2. Google Play Store
    • Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cancel Carat subscription
  3. Carat Website (Plus / Premium / Pro plan)
    • Account nickname (bottom left) → Settings → My Credits → Subscription & Usage → Cancel Subscription
  4. Business plan
    • Contact your dedicated manager or reach out through Business inquiry to request cancellation

After cancellation

Even after canceling your subscription, you can continue to use paid plan benefits until the end of your already paid subscription period. When the subscription period finally ends, your account will automatically convert to free user status, and any remaining paid credits will be forfeited.
Not a refundCanceling a subscription prevents the ‘next payment’ and is different from a ‘refund’. If you need a refund, please refer to the Billing and refunds document.
