Carat AI may not immediately know your real-time usage information. If you continue requesting in a chat where generation previously failed due to insufficient usage, the AI may remember the error and repeat the same message. In this case, try saying “I’ve recharged my usage, please generate again. (your request)” or open a new chat and request again.2. If the required usage is more than your remaining usage
This is the most common cause. Even if you have some usage, generation is not possible if the cost of one request for the feature (e.g., advanced video model) exceeds your remaining amount. Advanced models like Google Veo (Veo 3), Sora 2, and lip sync consume a lot of usage. This applies not only to Free plan users but also to paid plan users if their remaining usage is less than what the feature requires. In this case, try using a more economical basic generation model, or consider [subscribing/upgrading your plan] or [recharging usage].3. If it’s not time for free usage recharge yet
Daily free usage is recharged 24 hours after you use it. (e.g., if you used it at 3 PM, it recharges at 3 PM the next day) If 24 hours haven’t passed yet, your usage may not have recharged.
