If images or videos you want to upload don’t appear in the app, it’s usually because photo access permission is not allowed on your device.

1. Photo access permission settings (main solution)

Follow the steps below for your device to change Carat app’s access permission to ‘Allow all photos’.

iOS devices (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the [Settings] app.
  2. Scroll down and select [Carat] app.
  3. Select the [Photos] menu and allow [All Photos].

Android devices (Galaxy, etc.)

  1. Open the [Settings] app.
  2. Select [Applications] or [Apps] menu.
  3. Select [Carat] from the list.
  4. Go to [Permissions] and set [Storage] or [Files and media] to ‘Allow’.

2. What to do if the problem persists

If the problem persists after setting the above permissions, an error may have occurred during installation.
  1. Completely delete the app.
  2. Allow all permissions requested during reinstallation.
  3. If the issue is not resolved, please contact customer support.
