Why isn’t Nanobanana 2 unlimited?
Nanobanana 2 is not a successor to Nanobanana (base) but a separate, independent model. Promotion benefits are limited to specific models and signup windows, so Nanobanana 2 is not unlimited by default, but Premium / Max / Pro annual subscriptions that started on or after Mar 4, 2026 include Nanobanana 2 1K in the unlimited benefit. Generations made with the Nanobanana (base) model are processed with no credit deduction under the unlimited benefit. You can verify this in your usage history.How to view usage history
