Even if you have unlimited benefits (image/video generation, etc.), AI agent conversations are charged separately from credits. AI agent conversations use LLMs (large language models) and are not included in the unlimited benefit scope.When your credits run out, you cannot use an agent conversation. Choosing a model inside a chat still requires separate conversation credits. Unlimited benefits cover generation costs for eligible models and options, not the agent’s conversation costs. If you have enough conversation credits, eligible generation in the agent can still use your unlimited benefit. The generator is the way to keep generating without a conversation when your credits are zero. To generate images or videos with models and options included in your account’s unlimited benefits, open the Generator(생성기). On the web, use [Generator(생성기)] in the left sidebar (open the top-left ☰ on mobile web); in the app, go to [Home(홈)] → top-left menu (☰) → [Generator(생성기)] (app version 2.281.0 or later). The generator uses no conversation credits, but accounts without the benefit and models or options outside its coverage still require credits.Check your credits history to see if the deducted items are AI agent conversations.How to check credits history:

Unlimited benefits cover only the models and options included in your account’s benefits. If you also use other high-cost features such as video generation (Veo, etc.), Lipsync, or Midjourney, your total allocated credits may be consumed.

- Subscribers from Nov 21–30, 2025: Only Nanobanana Pro 1K and 2K resolutions are unlimited. Using 4K resolution will deduct credits.
- Subscribers from Dec 1, 2025 onward: Nanobanana Basic is unlimited. Nanobanana Pro deducts credits, and Nanobanana 2 is unlimited at 1K only for Premium / Max / Pro annual subscribers who joined on or after Mar 4, 2026 (2K and 4K deduct credits); monthly plans and other signup windows deduct credits.

Promotions apply when an active promotion is running at the time of your first subscription. If you subscribed before the promotion started, the benefit does not apply.

Unlimited benefits apply when you generate in the Carat app or website, with the AI agent or the [Generator(생성기)], and they don’t apply through MCP. An unlimited-eligible model still deducts credits when you generate it through MCP. Generate the same model in the Carat app or website and the benefit applies again. Unlimited generations don’t deduct credits, but they do count as usage. If your remaining balance didn’t drop, nothing was deducted. That usage tally is used when an annual subscription is cancelled during its term, for Premium Annual, Max Annual, and Pro Annual paid on the Carat website on or after September 1, 2026.
