Yes — with a Premium plan (1 year), Pro plan (lifetime), or Business plan subscription, you can use the ‘Carat Video’ model (LTX) without credit deduction. (The Plus plan is not included; it deducts about 33 credits per generation.)
1. Unlimited model vs. credit-deducted models
| Model type | Description | Credit deduction |
|---|
| Carat Video (LTX model) | Carat’s in-house tuned model (shown as “Carat”) | No deduction (Premium / Pro / Business only) |
| Advanced video models | External models such as Kling, Google Veo, MiniMax, Seedream, Seedance | Subject to credit deduction |
2. How to invoke the Carat Video model
Agent 1.0 and Agent 2.0 use different default models for video requests, so to receive the unlimited benefit in Agent 2.0 you must explicitly specify the Carat Video model.
| Agent | Default model for video requests | How to use Carat Video (LTX) |
|---|
| Agent 1.0 | Carat Video (LTX) is used by default. | Just request a video as usual. |
| Agent 2.0 | Seedance 2.0 is the default for performance reasons. | Explicitly request “Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)”. |
In Agent 2.0, saying “use the Carat Basic Video model” or “use the Carat Video model” may invoke Seedance 2.0 or another model. In that case, request “Use Carat Basic Video (LTX 2.3)” explicitly to receive the unlimited benefit.
For full details, see Using the Carat Video model in Agent 2.0.
3. Other items subject to credit deduction
In addition to non-Carat-Video models, the following also deduct credits:
- Image generation / editing
- Advanced video models (Kling, Veo, Sora, Seedance, etc.)
- Video editing (e.g., editing specific elements of an already-created video)
For more details, see the ‘How much can you use in each plan?’ list on the upgrade page.
